Xiaomi today officially introduced the Redmi Pad 2 4G in the Philippines. It is the latest entry-level entertainment tablet designed to bring upgraded features to a wider audience.

The Redmi Pad 2 4G features an 11-inch 2.5K LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and wet touch technology. Moreover, it features DC dimming, Low Blue Light, and is circadian-friendly. The display is coupled with a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio.
The tablet features an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front lens. Meanwhile, under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity G100-Ultra with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The tablet is also equipped with a 9000mAh battery and supports up to 18W wired fast charging.
The Redmi Pad 2 4G runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2, which brings a connected experience that integrates effortlessly across other Xiaomi phones and tablets. Among these features are Call Sync and Network Sync. Call Sync allows you to take phone calls directly on the tablet without switching devices, while Network Sync enables quick access to your phone’s hotspot with a single tap.
The new entry-level device supports the Redmi Smart Pen and the Redmi Pad 2 Cover. The former offers a 60Hz refresh rate and millisecond-level low latency to aid in writing, sketching, and note-taking. Meanwhile, the latter adds 360° protection and supports smart wake and sleep functionality.
