A new vivo smartphone, identified by the model number V2507A, has received approval from China’s CMIIT platform, revealing a significant 8,000mAh typical battery capacity. This discovery challenges earlier speculation that the device could be the Vivo X Fold 5, which was rumored to feature a 6,000mAh battery.
vivo V2507A Details Spotted
Initially spotted on the 3C certification platform with a 90W charger, the V2507A’s substantial battery, rated at 7,840mAh, suggests it belongs to a different series, possibly an iQOO device.
Such a large power unit is uncommon in mainstream smartphones, with the Honor Power, launched in April in China, being one of the few with similar capacity.

While it remains unconfirmed whether the V2507A is a Vivo or iQOO model, the generous battery size aligns more with iQOO’s focus on performance. Given that the standard iQOO Z10 has yet to be released in China, despite the launch of Z10x, Z10 Turbo, and Z10 Turbo Pro variants, speculation suggests that the V2507A may be the iQOO Z10.
Moreover, rumors for the Chinese iQOO Z10 include a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, a 120Hz OLED display, and 90W fast charging. The mobile world eagerly awaits official confirmation regarding the V2507A’s true identity.
